A song for Easter
The music is coming soon…

In this is love, not that we loved God
but that he loved us first
and sent his Son as sacrifice
to save the very worst.
The one begotten Son of God,
the Father’s glorious heir
left splendour bright in heaven above
our joy and pain to share.
This perfect man our shame and sin
took on the cross to bear.
In death and blood, our substitute
paid full atonement there.
But death’s dark bonds God tore apart
and raised Christ from the grave;
and so through faith he raised us too,
to sin no longer slaves.
Thus all authority and power
to Jesus now is given.
That power our destiny assures
and lights the path to heaven.
